Housekeeper-Front Desk Clerk-Server: 3 openings at Norumbega Hospitality

Corporation doing business as The Norumbega Inn, 63 High St., Camden, ME 04843, phone: (207) 236-4646, to complete varying duties of this position that correspond to three different occupational categories as follows: various housekeeping duties as assigned, including cleaning and maintaining common areas/dishes, overnight guest rooms, grounds and bathrooms, changing/cleaning bed linens/towels, etc., vacuuming, removing trash, dusting, replacing shampoo/soap, etc., general cleaning/room assistance, waste disposal, delivering guest requests to rooms, etc.; various front desk clerk duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting, registering, and assigning guests to rooms, issuing keys, handling luggage, processing payments, handling customer complaints and requests, and making and confirming reservations; and various server duties as needed, including taking food and beverage orders, answering questions about the menu, carrying trays of food and drinks from the kitchen to the dining room, serving customers, preparing checks and taking payment from customers, removing dirty dishes and cleaning tables, setting up dining areas, refilling condiments and stocking service areas, with other related duties. 35+ hours per week, Monday-Sunday (2 days off, varies) shifts start as early as 6:30 a.m. and end as late as 12:00 a.m. (multiple shifts available, varies); \$18.66-\$22.00 per hour with overtime possible at \$27.99-\$33.00 per hour; temporary full-time (April 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026). No minimum education or experience required; some on-the-job training provided; performance-based bonus and/or raise possible; tips available on top of base wage; daily transportation provided and no deduction for the daily transportation provided; optional employer-provided housing available at \$125 per week deducted from bi-weekly pay, if elected. Paid bi-weekly using a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Standard payroll deductions as required by law.

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging)

to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if worker completes half the employment period; the amount for daily subsistence will be at least \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts; return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Reimbursement within one week after the start of work of visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers, at no charge, with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
