Job Description

Perform installation, repair and maintenance on all equipment in the facility. Also responsible for facility maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform installation, repair and maintenance following verbal and written instructions, reference materials and standard procedures adhering to company, local and state standards.
2. Ensure that all equipment is repaired and maintained to ensure the highest safety standards.
3. Provide general maintenance department assistance. Be a team player.
4. Detect and report faulty operations, materials and working conditions to supervisor.
5. Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies.
6. Maintain work areas, equipment and tools in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure repair areas have been cleaned of all waste and tooling before returning equipment back to the operator.
7. Perform other duties and cross-train as required or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Requires technical school training and/or comparable experience.
2. Requires the ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment.
3. Knowledge of company procedures for storage, handling and shipment of hazardous waste to comply with government regulations. Training will be included upon assignment to such duties.
4. General working knowledge of all aspects of industrial maintenance. Good mechanical and construction aptitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Physical fitness to perform all job functions of the designated work area, including any and all maintenance and heavy lifting assignments.
2. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
