Job Description

We are  working on a temp to perm merchandise planning role with a top fashion/apparel company in NYC. There are a few open roles covering activewear, apparel outlet and accessories.  Role is full time hours in their midtown office.  Looking for someone who also has a global or multi-regional experience.  Also, needs to have very strong Excel skills.  

• Annual Salary approximately $90-100K at full time but may go higher - approximately 45-50 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Seasonal planning and forecasting
• Build planning framework
• In season business analysis
• Track Margin performance
• Product assortments and regional buy support
• Product opportunities
• Work cross functionally
• Sit in on buy meetings

Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years in a merchandising planning role with experience in global planning or multi regional
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business reporting
• Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A global mindset with attention to regional nuance
• A balance of analytical rigor and product sensitivity
• A proactive, detail -oriented approach to planning and execution•?A passion for consumer, product, and team collaboration
