**Packaging Engineer** Engineering Chino, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 70000 | Pay Rate High: 100000 + Added - 21/08/2025 Apply for Job We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to join a growing team in San Bernardino County, CA. This is a full-time onsite position ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in packaging development and project coordination within the personal care, cosmetics, or nutraceuticals sectors. **Location: Chino, CA** **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Type:** Direct Hire **Salary:** $70,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience) **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop packaging solutions for consumer products using sketches, specifications, and prototypes + Submit designs for approval and implement necessary changes based on client feedback + Ensure packaging designs align with quality and regulatory compliance standards + Select appropriate packaging materials considering function, cost, and manufacturing capabilities + Create and manage detailed project timelines, scope definitions, and status updates + Coordinate across internal teams (R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing) + Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part numbers in ERP systems + Track progress and provide ongoing project status reports to key stakeholders **Requirements:** + 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering or technical project management + Background in personal care, cosmetics, or nutraceuticals is required + Experience with fill and assembly specifications + Proficiency in ERP systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required) + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Deep understanding of packaging materials, processes, and compliance standards + Ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
