PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Capital Region

Fusco Personnel is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our Director of Manufacturing and help drive on-time delivery of high-quality machined parts. This exempt leadership role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who thrives in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Primary Duties

Oversee daily production activities and provide guidance to production staff
Develop and execute training plans for new hires and apprentices
Lead tooling selection, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts
Manage high-risk quotes and technical customer communications
Drive process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and delivery
Support asset purchases and equipment proposals
Participate in hiring, performance management, and employee development

Candidate Profile

5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes), including setup and/or programming
5+ years working with machine tools and tooling
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Strong blueprint reading, quoting, math, and process improvement skills
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (A.S. in Advanced Manufacturing preferred)
